Eastern European Countries

The term 'Eastern Europe' is used by ViFaOst to describe a historical and structural region through all ages. Such assignement of this term follows the geographical focus of institutions participating in the project. Apart from Central Eastern Europe it includes аll Baltic states, the Balkan peninsula as well as the successor states of the former Soviet Union.
